Teacher's Role

The ORU eAcademy online learning community will operate in conjunction with the ORU School of Education administration and faculty to ensure optimal student performance. An environment of intellectual vitality and a love for learning will be provided by caring, professional Christian educators.

All teachers meet the highly qualified educator requirements as defined by No Child Left Behind, meaning they are degreed/certified teachers who are content specialists, experienced in their field, and equipped with the subject matter and pedagogical knowledge necessary for students to succeed in a virtual community.

ORU eAcademy is committed to ensuring that all teachers have the dispositions, values, and commitment to the profession necessary to develop a community of support for students to achieve academic success in a virtual community.
