Dr. Kim E. Boyd
eAcademy Superintendent & Acting Dean of the School of Education

Dr. Boyd has served as Associate Dean of the School of Education since 1998. Previous to her current position she served for over 9 years as an instructor/professor in the School of Education and over 8 years as a classroom teacher in the Sapulpa Public Schools. Dr. Boyd received her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Oklahoma State University. Her Masters degree is in Reading from Northeastern State University and her Bachelors Degrees is from Oral Roberts University. She has been a professional educator serving as a teacher and professor in elementary and postsecondary education since 1979.


Gail Marten
Head Administrator

Gail is the Head Administrator for the eAcademy. She has a BS in both Business Administration and in Business Education and an MA in Christian School Administration all from ORU. She has been in education since 1986, serving as either a secondary teacher or as an administrator. She and her husband, Gary, have 3 daughters-Rebekah, Abigail, and Rachel. Gary and Gail have been in ministry for many years. They served as pastors for several churches in Illinois, helped pioneer a Christian school there, and traveled as music ministers and seminar teachers as well.


Georgia Taylor
Coordinator of Student Services, Recruitment and Admissions

Georgia graduated from ORU with a BS in Elementary Education in 1999, and an MA in Public School Administration in 2004. She taught 5th grade for 8 years at Victory Christian School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She loves to be with her family and friends and in her free time enjoys traveling all over the world.

Angel G Aņorga
Spanish I & II

Angel is originally from Peru, South America. He has a B.A. degree in Secondary Education: English and Spanish from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima, Peru. He has had his teaching certificate since 1996 and has taught (EFL) English as a Foreign Language to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in Peru. In 2000, he obtained his teaching certificate in the state of California where he taught Spanish at the Middle School and Community College levels. Angel received his Masters degree in Spanish with emphasis in Spanish Linguistics from San Diego State University.


Trudy Brock
7-12th Grade Bible

Trudy Brock received a degree in Fine Arts from The University of Oklahoma and later a degree in Elementary Education from East Texas State University, then taught third, fifth, sixth and eighth grades in Texas. After moving to Tulsa and taking a hiatus to care for her third baby, Mrs. Brock taught high school English, computer and second grade at Victory Christian School. She happily serves on the Ministry Leadership Team and in the Mobile Kidz Club at Victory Christian Center. Trudy is certified in Elementary Education.


Tanner Culbreath
High School Biology and Health

Tanner is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with a degree in Science Education. He began teaching in 2006 and is currently teaching locally in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also participates in coaching activities at his local school being active in cross country in the spring, and track in the fall. In his free time he loves to camp, mountain bike, and climb. Tanner is certified in Biology and Earth Science.


Nancy Herrera
Math 7-12th

Nancy Herrera is currently teaching Algebra II in North Carolina. She has taught all levels of high school math. She attended Oral Roberts University and transferred to Coastal Carolina University to complete her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. This was followed with her Master's degree in Education-Secondary Mathematics. Nancy is certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Math and 9-12 Mathematics. She has co-authored and published 'SAT Rescue' book to assist students in being successful with the SAT test.


Rachel Keeney
Elementary Grades 3-6 and History 7th-12th

Rachel Keeney has been teaching since 1997, with eleven of those years at Evangelistic Temple School in Tulsa. While at ETS she taught elementary, middle school, high school, and coached track and field. She is now a stay at home mom. She enjoys doing missions work, photography, and running. Mrs. Keeney received her bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. She is certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Social Studies and Language Arts, and High School U.S. History, Government, and Economics.


Toni Sanchez
Physical Science, Chemistry and Physics

From 2004 until 2007, Toni taught Chemistry, Physics and Physical Science at Victory Christian School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has taught high school science with ORU eAcademy since 2007. Though still with eAcademy, she moved to Glendale, Arizona and is currently in Osteopathic Medical School at Midwestern University. Toni is certified to teach High School Chemistry and Basic Science.


Janet Spear
7-12th Grade English

Before joining the ORU eAcademy team in 2007, Mrs. Spear taught English at Victory Christian School in Tulsa, OK, for thirteen years. While there, she was the high school department chairperson for twelve years and was the National Honor Society sponsor for eight years. Mrs. Spear is experienced in English curriculum, having implemented an English pre-AP program and a senior English AP program. In addition, she continues to teach a Scholastic Aptitude Test prep class twice a year. Mrs. Spear earned her bachelor's degree from ORU and is an Oklahoma certificated teacher, qualified to teach Grammar and Composition, American Literature, British Literature, and World Literature in grades seven through twelve.


Lanelle Sutton
7th and 8th Grade Science

Lanelle is currently teaching seventh grade in North Carolina. She has served as an elementary and middle school teacher since 1997. Lanelle received her Masters degree in Education Administration and Curriculum Supervision from University of Oklahoma and her Bachelors Degree is from Oral Roberts University. Lanelle is certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Education, and Administration K-12.
