Accreditation
Parents have the assurance that the ORU eAcademy curriculum meets national and state standards and is taught by highly qualified and certified teachers. ORU eAcademy is fully accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA). ICAA is recognized by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), a national consortium of private school accrediting commissions.
NCPSA is a fully recognized member of the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). CITA is the most rapidly growing accreditation agency in the world and provides expertise in accreditation and school improvement. The regional commissions accredit 32,000 schools in 100 countries. Participating organizations include:
- Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
- Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA)
- North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCACASI)
- National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)
- National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE)
